Why I play basketball:

I play basketball because of the friendships that it has created me to have. I have met some of the most important people in my life through basketball and I am so thankful. I also play because I genuinely enjoy the sport and the adrenaline rush it causes you to have when you are playing it.

What in your life do you feel most grateful for:

I am grateful for so many things in my life like my family and my friends. My family has shaped me into the person that I am today. I can rely on my parents no matter what happens. Ever since I was young my mom was always there to drive me to practices no matter where they were and she always made sure I had everything to know that I would be OK. My dad is always that person that you hear in the stands yelling random comments at some things that he as no idea what he is talking about. People always laugh when my parents go off on their little sprees of yelling during the game because they know exactly who it is without looking back. I am also really grateful for my friends because they are always there. Whenever I have a problem I know I can go to them and they are willing to help me regardless of the situation. I wouldn’t change my friends for the world.

Thoughts/Feelings on your team:

I think we’re going to have a lot of fun this year because of the bonds on the team. We have already started off pretty good and we are only going to get better. My idea of success is us overall just getting better at our skills and just growing as a team. I am excited for the season to go on and to see how far we go.
